Isla Noir

A siren from the sea.

Isla Noir is a multi-instrumentalist who weaves a

soulful performance of crystal vocals and moving

piano melodies within a dark/dream pop sound in a

cinematic landscape. Classically trained in piano from

the age of six and self taught in guitar and drums; Isla

writes and produces her own music.

Her 2012 title EP single "Hawkmen" was synced in

Spike Lee's Netflix series "She's Gotta Have It." as well

as the instrumental featuring on fashion brand

"Decjuba" TVC.

After spending several years in Australian studio Press

Records with Kris Beyrouthy (Cosmic Bounce Records)

and Andrew Padula (Sol Studios) Isla honed her

production skills and fully produced her last album.

Isla's original composition has appeared on award

winning film “Screaming at Stars” as well as her

cinematic pop track “Nebula” appearing on Swedish

film “Gemini” and also syncing with Volvo for a

commercial.

The remix of original song Moonlight, by Australian

astronaut, Dr Chrispy (Chris Boshuizen) has reached

213,000 Spotify streams to date and Nebula and Nebula Remix has reached 23,000 collectively.

Drawing from experiences and observations both at

home and overseas, Isla's songs form a beautiful

balance of escapism and true stories.

Musical influences include Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa,

London Grammar, Ellie Goulding and Highasakite.

She wrote and co-produced the music clip for her first

single “Hawkmen” as well as "Alone With You"

Hawkmen EP

Hawkmen was produced and recorded in Melbourne Australia at Press Records Studios, Brunswick.
It speaks of the underground dance music scene in Australia as well as yearnings of travels and love.

'Sleepless Universe' 2022 Album

After a hiatus from recording, and taking the time to tour, play at various gigs and work on her stagecraft, Isla released her 2022 album "Sleepless Universe".

The lockdowns offered the perfect opportunity to hone her production skills and record the tracks in studio.

The result is a dreamy pop album with cinematic darkness sprinkled in between.
